Substitution Treatment Program including dispensing and therapy.
What
is Methadone?
Methadone is a safe and effective medication taken daily to treat opiate
addiction. It allows people who are addicted to narcotics to avoid the
pain of withdrawl as they overcome their addiction and resume normal
lives. (It can only be given as part of a complete treatment program.
There are no walk-ins.)
How
does someone get into the program?
Call to start the admission procedure with a telephone pre-screening.
Pre-screening leads to intake assessment. Every client must complete
a physical examination including basic lab work before admission. (There
are federal and state eligibility requirements for participation in
the program.)
